There is lots of questions you need to answer and before you pull go ride in both in the ruff...Are you wanting to stay inshore or off, inches vs feet you want to fish mostly..I would ask this over at two cool..There is faster and slower,..My opinion i would want like an SCB with monster power..

Could be gator...just trying to not scratch it today.

I'm not looking to run skinny water if it compromises being able to handle big water and rough conditions.

every cc i been in was rough, compared to my little bass boat. I think my boat is rough, but way better than a cc. i have never owned a cc.

been in three different bay boats myself and found the 22ft majek was the best I rode in. Also rode in a ranger 2200 and an 18 blue wave. I would not go blue wave.

I could make a bass boat out of that Majek agd, and draught is 10" skinny. Good info.
                  Bigger is better. :D

we went fishing in that majek 5-6 times on conroe on windy days. rode across the main lake about 50mph and it was pretty smooth

22 ft Marshall is my boat of choice,I've been in my dad's shoalwater tunnel hull. It's hard to beat it in the shallow bay water,But I didn't care for it in the Gulf.We ride from port Aranass to Baffin Bay in the Marshall and it's nice ,The Blue wave was hard hitting ,So was the CC Skeeter,The CC Ranger was a good ride.My step brother is a fishing guide and gets a new boat every 2 years ,And I got to ride in few of them.

I have a 20' duracraft tunnel alum. CC semi-v loves the shallows but not the waves. I've been in a 22' triton CC no tunnel deep-v rides great in 3-4 footers. And a 20' kenner CC no tunnel deep-v 2-3 footers it rides ok not like the triton.

I've noticed on tunnels is they don't turn well at speed is this true for all. Something else I'm not sure I will like is a cupped prop. They don't seem to reverse worth a darn.

I wonder how a 150 would handle that huge boat..40 mph and terrible fuel consumption..that would be a nice rig with a merc 250 proXS...It has tons of useable room..
