  • Carb Rebuild on the Toon

I was having a problem with my pontoon not able to run over 1000 to 2000 rpm in gear. I figured it was the carbs since I haven't used the toon much this year. So I ordered the kit online and started the rebuild.

I didn't take any pics of the dirty carbs apart. But here is some pics as I was putting it together.

I took the wife with me on a test run. It turned out to be a nice boat ride. Launched from the south end and went to the island and back.

You are ready to fish bow. Congrats on fixing it.
Did you get the charging problem fixed you were having with it fixed?
Work fascinates me, I can sit and watch it for hours.

Thanks. I fixed the charging problem about this time last year, it was a bad voltage regular.

That's what I like about 'toons..... they have a roof!

Beware of dragons, as you are crunchy and good with ketchup.
